HYP’s First Offline Information Sharing Event in 2022 was a Huge Success
September 19 , 2022

HYP Global successfully hosted an offline information sharing event on September 14th, 2022. Because of the COVID-19 related regulations and restrictions on gatherings, most of our recruitment and industry events have been moved online in the past year. While we enjoy the benefits of convenience and flexibility, we miss being able to connect and engage with our industry contacts face to face, it brings much more trust and confidence. We are grateful to the agents and representatives who showed up despite typhoon weather.

April, our University Partnership Manager, shared an overview of international students in the U.S. and Chinese demographic trends in relation to higher education needs. Combined with our CEO, Harry’s analysis, we were able to facilitate discussions on how have the pandemic changed the study abroad industry in China, and what are some of the threats and opportunities that have been created. Many of our industry contacts have been guiding Chinese families on their study abroad journeys for over a decade, their insights of the market are of great value to us and to our partner universities.

After tea break, our Marketing Director, Connie was able to highlight unique advantages of our partner universities and demonstrate application requirements using examples of admitted and rejected students. The session turned out to be even more engaging and productive than we anticipated, which boosted our confidence in U.S. recovering as the primary study abroad destination.

The event marks the beginning of 2023 admission cycle for us, and it was a huge success. More than 20 agents and representatives joined us, many more engaged with us through WeChat, and follow-up appointments were made. We look forward to our next event and more opportunities to collaborate with our industry contacts.
