On April 13, 2021, we held a Pepperdine University Business School Online information session. Two Popular Programs:
Master of Science in Applied Finance (MSAF)
The duration of MSAF program is 12-15 months. Students can choose to intern or do research with professors for 3 months after 15 months, or they can go to 49 partner schools in Pepperdine in other countries to study abroad. There are two tracks: Financial Management and Investment Management. The program emphasizes the combination of theory and practical learning. There are not only theoretical courses such as economics and decision science, but also practical courses such as quantitative methods, which provide students with future career opportunity in the fields of banking, investment management, project financing and private equity.
Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)
The duration of the MSBA business analysis project is 12 months. MSBA is committed to cultivating students' analytical skills needed to solve complex business problems, and teaching students how to use technical tools to help leaders make corporate decisions. It includes not only understanding courses such as decision science, but also more technical courses such as information systematic knowledge management, technical management, and information systems. In addition, there are some basic conceptual courses, which are more useful for students who want to do consulting, such as business process analysis and innovation, BPR, python, R language, predicted/marketing/social media analytics models and tools.
