HYP Global × Lehigh University Graduate School International Education Exchange (Shanghai Stop)
April 06 , 2025

The HYP Global × Lehigh University Graduate School International Education Exchange concluded successfully! This was the first offline exchange event hosted by Lehigh University's Graduate School in China, specifically for professionals in the international education industry. We were deeply honored to engage in meaningful discussions with industry partners and Lehigh alumni at the event, sharing insights and building connections. We look forward to more such opportunities to gather with everyone and anticipate our next reunion!

Hongyang Gong, Founder & CEO of HYP Global, reflected on 2025 marking the sixth year of HYP Global’s in-depth collaboration with Lehigh University. Over ten sessions of the Pre-Master program, more than 200 outstanding students have been enrolled—a testament to the depth and quality of our educational partnership.

Ms. Sabrina Jedlicka, Associate Provost of Lehigh University’s Graduate School, made her first visit to China and delivered an official presentation on behalf of the university, providing an authoritative analysis of admissions policies. She detailed the graduate program offerings, admission requirements, scholarship policies, and international student support systems, while also introducing the Pre-Master Boot Camp (PMBC) program to help study abroad agencies guide students in their applications. The event also allocated ample time for on-site educators to engage in industry networking, Q&A sessions, and group photos.

Weng, a graduate of the first Lehigh PMBC cohort, shared his experiences of campus life and academic studies at Lehigh, along with his "exclusive tips" on applying management courses from the business school to real-world scenarios, while discussing his career development.

Seasoned study abroad consultant Ms. Cai provided a comprehensive breakdown of the successful application process—from school selection and essay writing to interviews—revealing strategies to improve admission success rates. After the sharing sessions, plenty of time was reserved for industry peers to network and exchange ideas.
